How to Unlock the Bootloader and Root the Huawei Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro

Preparation:-

• Charge Your Device.
• Backup Phone Apps, Contacts, SMS.
• Get Unlock Bootloader Code Guide
• Remove any fingerprint, Remove Encryption.
• Required Android 8.0 EMUI 8.0.
• Enable developer options.

Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.

Enable USB Debugging.

Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The “Usb Debugging” Checkbox .

Enable OEM Unlock.

Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The“Oem Unlock” Check box

• Install Huawei Driver Link
• Download “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” and “FHMate10Tool_201711115.zip” file.
• Read Guide.

Unlock Mate 10 Bootloader:-

 1.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” and Unzip it.

2.) Get Unlock Bootloader code from Huawei Official Site.

3.) Go to adb-fastboot-tool folder and Open cmd window thereby Shift + Mouse Right Mutton -> Open command window Here.

4.) Now connect your phone to the pc and execute this command.

adb reboot bootloader

This command will reboot your phone into fastboot mode.

fastboot oem unlock UNLOCK KEY

This command will unlock your phone replace UNLOCK KEY with your device key.

5.) Confirm the unlocking at your phone by Volume Up, Down, Power key device will auto reboot and all data will be erased (Not Internal Storage). 

Root Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10:-

• Re-Enable USB Debugging.
• Download “FHMate10Tool_201711115.zip” and unzip.
• Connect your phone and run FHMate10Tool.exe from FHMate10Tool_20171115 folder.
• Select 1st option to root the device.

Read instructions given by the tool, Rooting process will start.

Phone data will all erase but SuperSU Installed on your device
